Dr. SWAGG, thanks for such an immature post! But then again your name is SWAGG so I didn't expect anything else lol

But seriously dude, everyone on this website is amazing and helps each other out a LOT! People go out of their way to help others on here! They come back from their exams and first thing they do is write up their experience for others to see, they try to post up questions that they find interesting &/or difficult to get a discussion started on it and most of all, everyone helps out each other a lot! You just gotta have patience .. If you've had any issues just start a thread and I'm sure ppl will help!

1) "You guys just flock to threads where somebody posted a high USMLE score" ... yeah coz you learn from other's preparation and their mistakes and see how you can improve yourself.

2) "Or when somebody posts a question" ... yeah coz when ppl post up questions, you would want to answer that n discuss it. It helps you in your study.

i agree most of what u said but one thing is not so good and that shld change among us.there is not much discussions here .if someone ask for help and u reply them there is no feedback no discussion just that thread is lost.

if u contribute to a question there is no chain of discussions on that topic that lead to a common conclusion.there r just ppl posting there different veiws. i feel discussion on that topic is more imp than just posting a Qs and a few ppl giving their veiws.

i like this forum but ppl shld change a lil bit .i m benefited by this forum.some people are really nice here .i m just discussing coz thats what a forum is all about.

I have posted a few threads with 0 replies.. Of some basic questions that I KNOW some people in here can give some insight to..

And of course people will flock to those threads I mentioned but that's not the point.. The point is that when someone asks for help regarding references or study methods people rarely help.. You see like 100 views and 0 responses.. Its disgraceful

Btw my name doesn't have anything to do with my intelligence.. I'm a straight A student

guys don't expect too much from others. there are different kinds of people who are members in this forum.for example take me i am a final year medical student and i seldom get a chance to even visit the forum. so i just read the experiences to boost up my energy and move on. even if i wanted to help i don't know much about usmles because i am still in the starting phase.

Help Man... realx...

...don't get the stress of the test get into your nerves. This place is really good, you can find here people that can give really good advices. There is a lot of information that you can find in here. Yes, sometimes people do not answer... but that is not important. Sometimes maybe the topic is not that good, or the question is either too hard or too simple, or it has been already asked. Sometimes people is just apatic... what do I know.

Don't expect that people here is going to give you the answer to everyting. Sometimes you have to look for it. Contrary to what step_enhacer thinks, I belive that reading someother people experiences is good (Study plans, exam experiences, etc...), it gives me a good point of reference to my study schedule. Makes me see where I am I doing OK, where I am doing wrong and also how can I improve my study... also, it gives me wings to fly and dream that I will also get a super score like them... it keeps me inspired.

In conclusion... There is no need to have that behavior (Relax). If you do not like this forum, it is easier to cancel your acount and leave, no need to "@#$$%$" this place. It is more mature to leave if you do not like it... Although, I think is to bad that you don't like it.

Have a nice day and a happy new year...

I saw your threads, I guess you're right, some of the questions you asked were simple but often times the threads get pushed down .. I can relate to that as a lot of the times my threads dont get replies also. But at the same time, dont let the frustration of the test get to you. Just relax, and ask again! My threads get deleted sometimes as well but thats only because of the copyright policy or if sometimes the same question has been asked before. I tend to search for a question using the search button first and if not then make a new thread to ask a question.

Also, I didn't find the need to use any obscene language since all of us are professionals here! (or trying to be lol)

Hey if you have any questions and can't seem to find the answer just PM one of the members or the admins! They're quite helpful.

advice for you: go to the top corner of your screen, if you have a mac look for the red button, if you have a pc, look for the little X, and click on it, and do us a big favor.

Hope it helps.

That's so immature.
Some of your posts are about things that have been asked before, for example about the Goljan High Yield notes. I asked about those once, and I remember there being more posts about it!

i totally feel ya dude.I am not here to tell you which language you shld use but ya you made a valid point which made us everyone think again. So far it was like ppl post some experiences and results and honestly most of the attention went to the ones who scored above 230 also some didnt even get any replies for the threads which they have started, not a surprise!!
but you can use the search option or post it again or just PM anyone will do.

A USMLE applicant not getting replies on this threads so he is making inappropriate comments about thread. Which kind of defense mechanism is this?
A. Displacement
B. sublimation
C. Acting out
D. Regression

No offense fellas just to lighten up the surrounding environment with some high yield topic. ;-)
