Thumbs Up Thank you message to the entire staff of usmle-forum !

Hi,

I would like to profusely thank everybody in this forum, particularly the scouts and the veterans (Sabio, Lee, etc) for their immense help in helping me to navigate through the quagmire of step 2 CS and step 3 when I was virtually floundering in the preparations of both. I have matched at a university program in pathology and I have cleared my step 3 also (although I cleared it after the interview-season).

I think this is an excellent usmle forum as good as or even better than the other more established forum.

I am an IMG and would be coming to US on a J-1 visa. I dont have any SSN or GC . I would like to apply for PTAL asap. Is it possible for me to apply now and can somebody give me a good link which would provide me with the latest info on how to get a PTAL ?

Thanx in advance.

Thank you for the nice feedback and we are glad that you are finding USMLE Forums helpful.

Back to you question;

It looks like you have matched in a State other than California then why are you asking about PTAL?

Anyway the information about PTAL can found here
