We have replied to your contact us form twice, it seems that your email program is filtering out our emails to the junk folder.

There is no option of deactivating the account. You can unsubscribe from all notifications in your User CP and this way you won't be getting any notifications of replies to your threads. Also, you can disable private messaging in your User CP and this way no member can bother you with PM. Also in your User CP you can opt out from receiving our email newsletter.

The only other option is completely deleting your account. If you want to have your entire account deleted with all the posts that you have made in the forums please let us know. But please give us some time to do that because you have over 760 posts! Note that it's not just deleting your posts but also deleting all the thanks you gave to other posts, deleting all thanks that other members gave you, deleting all other members posts that have quoted your posts! So it's quite a cumbersome job.

I honestly think this is very selfish. You stay in the forums until you finish all your steps, post 780 posts and as soon as you are about to take your last step, "forums have never been your thing"? You were asking at least one question in the CS forum every day and lots of people were helpful and answered them. Now you are done and you are not willing to keep being here? If you delete your profile, all your posts will be gone, so will the chance these posts help someone someday...

hi Sabio!

pls delete my account as well. I do not want to be part of usmle-forums anymore. I helped others thru my posts, and I have received their help thru their replies. Thank you.

Hello,

We no longer delete accounts since it leaves data holes in the system.

I do apologize for the inconvenience.

Default account deactivation

Due to the recent email about the data breach to your website (VerticalScope email) I would like to deactivate my account and remove my email and user name from this forum. I think this is a great community, but unfortunately this is unacceptable for me and I wish to have my information taken down from the website.

Hey,

The data breach was mainly due to folks having the same passwords on this site as they do on their other social media sites. Places like Linkedin and Facebook were a couple of the main breaches. We force reset the passwords on here so that we could attempt to prevent our members from being hacked on here.

I have deactivated your account along with elizabest's account.
