Search Community Support Team

Hello Team,

I would like to take a moment to introduce the Community Support team to you. We’re here to help you with any forum related issue you may be having. Vendor issues, to site function, to problem members, to spam we’re here to help.
What to do: Whenever there is an issue that needs our attention please post in the Team to Community Support Team section of the mod folder. Ensure to start a new thread for a new issue. When you do this a ticket notification is sent to us. We get these tickets from every forum and work on them in a FIFO order (First in, First out) and will get to you within 24 hours of the first post. If the issue is urgent, like if the site is down, being hacked, or inaccessible please email sitedown@verticalscope.com and one of our techs will come on ASAP and help you.
Community Site Help – We have added a help section for the community as well. When a member posts in the site issues section of the forum, a ticket is sent to us. Again we work on these tickets in a FIFO order and try to get to members as fast as possible. If you can help a member with an issue – great : )
The team consists of 10 members. When we post on the forum we tend to abbreviate our names when posting on the forum.
Helena B (HB) – Our Manager
Danniella M (DM) – Our Team Lead
Kyle N (KN)
Li L (LL)
Marie G (MG)
Sheena C (SC)
Angela B (AB)
Glenda P (GP)
Phillip B (PB)
Jeff M (JM)

If you have any questions please feel free to ask us.

Thank you

Default Hi, Can you help me delete my Account?

Dear USMLE Forums Admin,

I recently joined the forum and posted in the step 1 Study partner section. It really helped me out as I got a great partner who syncs quite well with me. But I was wondering if You can delete my post now. If you can't delete a single post , Please feel free to delete my account. That would be of great help to me. I think USMLE forums is a great site as it helps out many medical students preparing for board exams. But I'd rather not have it now and will rejoin in future if I need it. If you can delete my account it would be better for me temporarily . I read the posts that said I can disable PM but I think I 'd prefer deleting the account. Kindly help me out . Thanks a lot.

Sincerely,
Step1PrepU

Hi

As admin, we are not allowed to delete posts and we can't delete your account, however, we can deactivate account. Them, if you ever do decide to come back on, we can just reactivate it with the click of a button

Is that what you would like to do?

Good afternoon,

I have two questions:

(1) How long does it take for a moderator to review a post in the classified ads forum if you received a message (which leads to my follow-up question):

and,

(2) Why did I receive a message stating that I had 'too many links' in my forum message? I had only one URL to my company website and two images. This is why I received a message stating that a moderator had to review my post.

Please advise.

Hello,

I'm not quite sure about the time frame for approval as it's wholly up to the forum moderators but your posts were moderated because you are trying to advertise your institute on the forum.

Businesses must become a forum partner in order to advertise here. If you would like to advertise your institute here you can submit a form here (http://www.usmle-forums.com/sendmessage.php) and a representative will help you though the process. I can also ask them to contact your via email if that is preferable.

Have a great day!

~Kay

Hi,

If you give me a link to the post I can edit out your phone number so it no longer is posted. Would that work for you?
