Question 4 Weeks electives versus 6 months observership

Hi guys
Which option is better regarding USCE,
1) 4 Week elective in specialty of interest as a student?
2) 6 Months of observership after graduation?

please advise guys
anyone?

1- 4-Week elective in specialty of interest as a student?

This allows hands on patient contact, the other doesn't.
