Question Step 2 instead of Step 1 Score for electives

now most of the universities ask for step 1 score bfore providing electives
my doubt is can step 2 score be substituted for step 1 score to apply for clinical electives..
would the universities accept that

Elective rotations can only be applied for before you graduate. That's why Universities are looking for Step 1 score rather than the CK score, because most International Medical students get the CK exam after graduation.

If you are a graduate, you cannot apply for electives.

If you are still a medical student and you have only Step 2 CK score, then I suggest you directly contact the university for your unique situation. There is a good chance that they might accept your Step 2 CK score in replacement of your Step 1 score.
