Default Clinical electives in the US

Hey guys,
I am a IMG from India. I want to know the current status of getting into clerkships in the US medical schools. My toefl ibt score was 90, I did not get much time to prepare for the exam due to heavy workload. Now I am worried that my toefl score is too less. I have not written my step 1 yet. What universities can i apply to for clinical electives? and what are my chances?

Um sorry to disappoint but if you are a graduate you are no longer eligible to do electives/clerkships.

Maybe the author misused IMG as a student, but if you are still a student, you really had better have a TOEFL at least 100, especially at the case that you even do not have a step 1 score. Your choices are very limited without step 1 score and almost all of them ask for an at least 100 toefl score, some even much more than that. If your medical school offer some special contract with certain US medical school, these scores may be waived.
