Default Volunteer work

Hi guys, i need some advice regarding volunteer work.
Is it to easy to get into a hospital as a volunteer?
Is it beneficial for applying to a residency program? As in does it look good on ones CV while applying?
And is it considered as USCE?
Any input would be appreciated, thanks!!

something is better than nothing. I am not a 100% sure, but you could try for volunteer work in universities. As far i know, they are given the same importance as students. A few of them were rotating with me whn i was doing a rotation and they did everything i did! good luck!
