New York NYU Research Opportunity

I am an IMG and i recently got a position in NYU as a volunteer researcher in Cardiology..is this same as what people call post doctoral research assistant position..my job profile would be assisting in ongoing research fr some time before i get my own project?
I already have 3 months of USCE ....will this sort of research be considered good?

Thumbs Up Go for it

Any sort of job (research assistant, research observership, anything) in NYU is a great opportunity to boost your CV.

Program directors will admire you when they see you have NYU experience.

Go for it.

Im moving to NY soon and am looking forward to obtaining a research position aswell.

Did you have any previous research experience? Also where did you get your USCE from?
