Question Got low scores; now two paths ahead!

Hello friends,

I recieved my score on 18th. I have followed this forum but never posted. But now I'm in great dilemma. I just hope some one can give me some sincere advice. I scored 188/75 just passed the exam. I was seriously disheartened coz my last moment assessment was 210.
I thought of doing Master's coz my seniors told me that I can do Master's and do some research work. I can also get some funding if my luck favors. I was quite determined for this path. But today I received mail from the professor of JHU. He's interested in giving me the opportunity of working under him as a trainee for longer duration may be 4 months duration.

So, now here's my confusion:

1) Should I prepare for CK and do the research and later on apply for observership.

2) or should i prepare for GRE and go for Master's which can take a longer duration for settlement.

Can someone please help me out. Because doing both i.e. research and Master's can cost me very much. Which path can help me more in getting a match. I really want it.

Please help me out.

If you go into the path of clinical research, getting great LoRs from US Professors and making connections with clinical people then your chances of matching are higher than just doing academic Masters degree.

Default Got low score

If it's your dream to practise medicine, I'll say go for it. Study hard for ck, get good LoRs, good exprience from research or observation, pray hard and go for it. It's best to try and fail than not trying at all and always wondering what would have happened.
All the best.

Ps: if you are not that passionate about medicine, then consider doing the masters.
