Question Pharmacist Technician as USCE?

hi guys , I am an IMG , i have a question, I am preparing for step1 i will take it in the end of this year , I am currently holding pharmacist technician license , I wonder if working as a pharmacist tech counts as a clinical experience ? Cuz I talked to specialist physician in a hospital and she said they will look at anything you did in the health field and she encouraged me to do it, now I am just wondering if it counts or not?

Thank you guys.

Thumbs Up Do it

Yes. Go for it.

It will definitely help.

Program directors will admire your hard efforts to make a living and stay in the healthcare field.

Also, remember, that many of US doctors initially start with some medical job and gradually work their selves up to the MD ladder.

I encourage you to do it.

I am Board Certified and licensed Pharmtech and actually work at humana on call, and MD studying to pass step 1, if you need any help I am available; furthermore you have to take the board test in Pharmtech which is obligatory right now
