Clock When is the correct time to ask for observerships?

Hello all of you, Im a very old IMG, I'm a Dermatologist but just start all the process to get in to the EEUU medical system.
I start to study for step 1 and I want to know when is the most convenient time to ask different hospitals to do observerships. I mean, how early should I apply for an observership.
Have you any lists os Observerships for IM, Dermatol or Family Medicine?

Most IMGs apply a year ahead, depends on your luck, some will find it in few months. Thousands of applicants apply yearly to observerships which make the waiting list long in all programs. I would advice you to apply as soon as possible and they will give you the available dates. On the link below you will find the observership list and other IMG friendly lists as well.
