Search looking for externship in LA

Hi
I am a new one to this forum.
I am going to take step 1 exam in April 2016.
I need US clinical experience and letter of recommendation for resisdency match after my exam.
Some people said getting LOR from hospital is stronger than clinic observership.
I have no information about hospital offering externship in Loas Angles.
If someone know about the hospitals in this forum , please let me know.
I want to know both free and paid externship.
Thanks in advance!

Hi lily yap,
As far i have researched any non certified person cannot interact with a patient. CA medical board has issued a notice to all practicing physicians that they cannot allow this to happen.

I'm an IMG and looking for USCE myself. Considering paid externships.

Hope this helps. good luck.
