Default waive letter of recommendation

Currently I am in elective in US and my attending has agreed to give me LOR

I am not applying to ERAS this year but I will apply next year after ck and cs.

How can my attending upload the LOR if I do not have ERAS acct this year? Will he save it on his computer and upload next year??

Yes. Request him to write a letter now. Be sure to tell him when you would be applying for residency. Most attendings do that, they write the letter and save it to upload later.
