COngrats for finishing the theory part of MBBS

Well without step 1 you have very limited options.
1) Mt. SINAI NYC - their application has been closed for the period you just mentioned and will reopen in january 2017 for 17-18 session. It has a very high non refundable application fee of $1000 so if you want you may try your luck.

2)Weill Cornell: It requires you to apply atleast 6 months before the anticipated start date of your elective. The placement is highly competitive.

3)Florida International University: Open now, apply six months before to ensure availability

4) Harvard : I think they too require tou to apply atleast 6 months before. Only con is the very high elective fee of around $5000 (excluding accomodation and food)

5) University of Alabama: Check for availability. It has a fee of around $5000 with accomodation and transfers(food excluded)

6) Yale: The application period will open for 17-18 session for international students so keep checking their Visiting student website.

7) Private Companies: like medclerkships, chicagoclerkships, fmgportal, americlerkships. They place you not with a university but with a doctor who may or may not be associated with a residency program teaching hospital.

All the step 1 not required electives are >$2000 per 4wk elective.

Hope it helps
