Default Name difference when applying for electives

Hi there,

I have a query which I hope someone can help me out with.

I am applying for electives in my final year to various universities in US. However there is one small issue,
My Passport name is written as "AAAAA BBBBB CCCCC DDDDD"
The first three words are my first name and the last is my surname
My Toefl score report, National ID card name are also written the same way

However my school transcripts and University docs (Deans letter and transcripts) are written like this: "AAAAA BBBBB S.C. DDDDD"
where the initial C. corresponds to last word of my first name the 'S' initial is my fathers first name. My Fathers name is mentioned on my passport and my university documents exactly the same but its just my first name which is appearing slightly different.

Please advise what I should do? I haven't sent the applications yet, I don't know if it will be a problem as all my other documents alongwith and including my application are using my passport name. My Visa has been issued already (with my passport name) so that wont be a problem. Changing my name in the university will be a time consuming process which would take a long while to do.

Please help me out.
