Question The process of getting observership?

I have passed step 1 now I am taking step 2 ck in october. I plan to do Observership from November. I have few contacts in US, whom I am emailing these days and requesting for observership. Now my Question is that how much time it takes to get Observership, I mean how much time it takes for paper work.
Or I can get Observership instantly if some contact agrees ?

How many months before one should start searching for observership

please please reply and help :sorry:

Thank you

If your observership is in a private clinic, you can start anytime or as soon as you are able to go to the U.S. It depends on your contact.

If you are planning for an observership in a hospital, you have to apply months before. It differs from hospital to hospital. You can find it in their websites. Some hospitals require that you apply 6 months ahead of your target date due to the sheer volume of applicants.

I'm sure you can. You just need to search for those hospitals. Also, it will help more if you know someone who is in the residency program or hospital who can recommend you for the observership.
