Listening I got into a research position

I got offered an interview for a dermatology research position at mayo clinic.

The thing is that I want to go into internal medicine! and after that into cardiology!

Should I take it? or keep looking?

If it is paid then take it. Paid positions are extremely hard to come by. Otherwise you should try to get something in internal medicine.

Dermatology & Radiology research also help in improving your CV Internal Medicine so you shouldn't have any problem getting into residency. Once you are in, work towards Cardiology.

It's unpaid, i dont think i've heard of anyone who started out with a payed research position. They all get paid by time though.

You still think I should take it? Or keep on looking for something else in internal medicine?

It would help you in getting residency so you should take it.
