I am med student in India, final year and planning to apply electives in UCLA for visiting clerkships.

Hey my university hospital is affiliated with UCLA and Loma Linda. Can I apply for observership there? I am already a graduate. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

Their website says that they accept the international med students from the universities with which they have reciprocal relationship.
Also, my university is under california medical boards' accepted med school list.

I wrote an email to the student coordinator. Hopefully I get a reply. I will post a followup in this thread.

Hey guys,

I received a reply from them. Good news is they are accepting international students but only for "electives"

They told me to apply from the official website http://www.medstudent.ucla.edu/visit...s/internq2.cfm

If anyone did electives there, please post your experience. It would be very helpful.Thx.
