Kids Where to get FREE Pediatric Observerships/Externships?

Hi there everyone!

Can anyone suggest to me where to get FREE PEDIATRIC observerships/externships? Do you know any institutions that offer?

I prefer the states of Florida, California, New York, Michigan, Texas. But of course, any state will do.

If ever, can you also tell me the institutions that offer PAID but cheap. As we all know, taking the USMLE will cost us thousands and thousands of dollars so if we can go for something that's free, why not choose it right?

Please HELP. I want Pediatrics. =) thanks.

sincerely,
buttercupmd

Default Here's the list of pediatric observerships

For externships you have to go with the companies

For observerships try this
http://www.residency.peds.uab.edu/observerships.aspx
Also try
Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami
Miami Children's hospital
Mt Sinai Medical center, Miami
Baylor Medical College - Houston
Cleveland Clinic - Ohio

Note that the hospitals above need some connection and if you don't have it you have to keep emailing them until you get something and if that fails then you have to walk to the hospital and try to catch attendings there.
