Certificate Old LoR to be Written Anew!

I did my 1 month US clinical electives back in winters of 2011 when I was a student of final year. Graduated in 2012, did 1 year Internship and then started studying for USMLE now.

I had asked my PD about the LoR when I was about to leave US. He told me to drop him a CV whenever I wanted the letter and he'd gladly write one for me.

Now I finally made an ECFMG account and was wondering on how to go from here on. I plan on going to US in Jan-Feb 2014 for CS and was thinking to meet him and get it done. Should I wait till then, meet him in person or should I do it now itself? What would you guys recommend on how I go about it all.

Thanks!

As it was a very long time ago, I suggest it would be better to meet him or her personally for the lor.

Default Could this thread be moved to USCE/Obs Section

@Stepboy: Thanks for the input. I was thinking the same thing. May be I should wait till Jan-Feb and then request him to write it.
