I e-mailed cornell every document they asked for along with reciept of 200 usd wire transfer they ask fro application fee for electives in months of FEB-MARCH 2014.
Today I got this e-mail from them:

Your message was retrieved from SPAM and I am sorry to say that your documents
were lost in the process. Please try again to submit to
globalhealthelectives @med.cornell.edu

When your papers are received you will get a confirmation from Ms. Yasmine Reeder.

I don't see the problem man. Just resend the application materials along with the $200 receipt.

If I remember correctly, your Step 1 score was good. Why not apply to places that require Step 1? They're cheap and deadline to apply is 3 months or so.

Default tell me where??

all the places seem to have shut shop for imgs...wanted to apply to cincinati but they wont accept imgs. tufts wont take inernship year students. Northwestern and connecticut are closed too.
didn apply for casewestern and cleveland cz they want background check and i dont have it and process of getting one in my city so twisted up that it will take atleast a month with luck

will apply to mayo but even that needs the dean of my med school to upload a lor. considering i am from a government run med college from india that seems far fetched.

I am in a fix right now....I just dont know where to apply. I had a 243 in step 1 a year back but i dont think that will matter for elective

and the problem was that they sent me the mail on the last day of submission. Cornell has a policy where it doesnt accepts applications sent any later the 6 months before elective start date. Cornell sent me the email exactly 6 months before the start date.

I have sent the application again. If it does reach them it will be on the last day...and if it goes into spam again, my 200$ are down the drain
