Star about my B1 visa

hi everyone,
i'm currently schooling in the Caribbean and planning to right step 1 next year and begin my rotations. as a non-u.s national, i have some questions i want to ask which i'll appreciate if someone can answer.
i'm aware of the fact that i need B1 VISA which doesn't allow one to stay beyond six months at a go. so this means mean every non-immigrant must exit the country every six months and return again? what effect does this have on ones rotation and how are the non-national able to cope with this.

Yes, u haveto leave US in 6 mnths. So, u have to plan yr rotation keeping that in mind. If u dont leave in 6 mnths, yr stay will be considered illegal.

Other thing u should remember is, on yr entry to US, homeland security at airport will stamp yr passport with a date, which is a last date of yr stay in US. u must leave before that. usually its a 6 mnths later date. bt in case if its a 3-4 mnths later date, u must leave in that time period.

n yeh after leaving u can come back again if its a multiple entry visa. bt doing this 3-4 Times in a year is problem. they may doubt u n May revoke yr visa.

so, jst go there do your rotation n cm back. try to make sure that u wont have to go agaiin in short time of yr come back.

I am on B1 visa and had applied for the extention of my B1 visa one month in advance before I was suppose to leave. I applied online on the USCIS site. if you apply do not mention anything about your rotations or USMLE exam. On the B1 visa you have to behave like a visitor. I had sufficient documents to state my stay as my parents and sibling live here as they are PR or Citizen. It took 2 and a half month for the approval which I got for another 6 months. If it is not approved than the immigration officer will give you a notice to leave. You can also inquire from USCIS office in the state you plan to live. I wish you good luck.
