Question Research Electives Vs Clinical Electives?

For IMG's, which experience can be better (research/clinical electives)?
Like, in terms of ease of getting and its role in strengthening CV for IVs.
Anyone ??

Both of them are very good for your CV and can get you interviews. If I absolutely have to choose one of them then I'd choose clinical elective. PDs want to make sure first that you are exposed to clinical practice in US and that you can deal with patients.

If you have already done clinical electives and now you are choosing a second elective then I'd choose research elective.

Yes. Very helpful to build your CV but of course it will cost you a lot of money.
