Question Advanced Colleges of America??

Just came across this site. Has anyone heard of this company. Is it legitimate? Is the hands on clinical experience we gain from this company valid????

Thanks in Advance

hahaha!!! No Advanced colleges is not AmeriClerkships, they are affiliated with us but we are two separate entities! Of course we are always working on expansion and growth because it is a difficult process for everyone applying and of course we have to grow and adjust as needed to keep up with the ever changing healthcare industry

Hi Molly,
Here's the page in Advanced Colleges of America website
http://edu.advancedcolleges.us/about-aca/aca-faculty
and it mentions Dr. Pedram Mizani as the chief

Here's the page in Americlerkships website
http://www.americlerkships.org/kaplan
and it mentions Dr. Pedram Mizani as the chief

So if the same boss have founded tow companies and they both serve the same purpose of offering commercial paid clerkships to IMGs then why should we think of them as separate entities?

Because we ARE two seperate entities with different programs, different regulations, different enrollment processes, even different offices. They have a campus while we have our corperate office. I am telling you, as a person that works (and has worked for years) at AmeriClerkships, we are not the same.

Default Distinction of the Two

Good Day USMLE Forums,

I apologize for the extremely delayed response. Advanced Colleges of America (ACA) was not a member of USMLE Forums at the time that this post was published.

Although ACA and Americlerkships Medical Society share the similar goal of assisting International Medical Graduates with obtaining U.S. medical residency, we are two separate institutions. ACA is a university that is governed by the Bureau for Private Post Secondary Education, whereas Americlerkships Medical Society is a clinical placement agency.

Please view the postings below for more information regarding the difference between Advanced Colleges of America and Americlerkships.
