Canada IMG questions about USCE in Canada

Hi.
I am an IMG from Pakistan. Will be in 4th year from January and I am thinking of acquiring USCE.
Problem is due to some financial setbacks and family issues I can only do observership/electives once. Either in USA or Canada. Canda being top priority as some of my close relatives live in Toronto.
What I want to ask is the U of Toronto elective counted as USCE? Or does it help in getting residency later on in USA?

Secondly I may be able to secure USCE in the form of externship via some relative of mine who practices FM there. But it is not a 100%

As I can only afford to go once during my student years, I would like some input about these matters.
It'll be really helpful. Thanks

Technically speaking. An elective in Canada is not a US experience and is an International experience. However, Canadian experience is valued more than any other country experience, more than Europe and Asia experiences.

So your elective in Canada does help but it won't help as much as US experience.
