Unhappy need some help!

i am an international student and i plan to apply some internship in the US. but now i don't know how to get background check for international students as i have no SSN.

Hi Qiying:
I can tell you how it works for Illinois. This is probably true for other places also. Get a letter from your point of contact at the internship program. Go to the nearby police station (after calling) , bring your letter with you and they will fingerprint and do a background check.

Also there are places that do fingerprinting in most cities and that often includes the quick background check. Unless you have committed a crime in that state, your background check will be OK.
