Program Directors 1 Year experience in UK/NZ or 3 Months in US

which is better and more likely to make the Program Directors intersted

1 year house officer (Resident) in UK/NZ or 3 months in US as electives

cause in the first case i will get salary but in the second case i wont get salary

so for me the first choice is good
but is it also good for Program Directors point of view

Stop Don't waste your time

My PD told me the following:

"I appreciate your experience in NYC Starbucks coffeeshop more than a PHD from an overseas country"

Yes, to that extent PDs do not recognize outside experiences and to that extent they admire any kind of US experience even if not clinical!
