The elective spot availabilities keep on changing and you can never say that okay apply for this and you'll surely get it. It doesn't work that way. You should directly contact Cornell at the email or phone number given on their electives webpage. If I'm not wrong international students are allowed to do electives only in Presbyterian, Lincoln, Queens so do check with the relevant elective choices that are available at these hospitals only and ignore the rest of them.

Hi chaitra, I have also applied for cornell for the same months
When did you apply for it?
Do you have step 1 score?
Where are you from?
Do you know on what basis do they select?

Hello Janki,
I am from Karnataka. I applied in June. I have not given my steps yet. My TOEFL score is 106. I think a strong CV and SOP matter more.

Hi Chaitra!
Congratulations on your selection. Have you taken step1? What did you write on your CV? Basically what do you think get you selected. I've heard that it's not easy to get through there.
Thank you!

Default Electives at FIU

Hi! has anyone got electives at FIU in the month of April? I am looking for someone to stay with me during that period, as accommodation there is very expensive. Please let me know if there is someone who's got an elective at that time.
Thank you in advance

Hello,
Thank you. I have not given my steps yet. I just gave TOEFL - 106. But they didn't even ask for it. I seriously have no idea why I got selected. My CV had paper publications and presentations, some electives that I did here, research work, voluntary works and few other.

I have applied late August for Jan Feb March 2017 for Psychiatry electives only.
I have not received any notification yet. I guess 30 days prior to start is the latest date of notification .... but how am I going to get my letter of eligibility in time then?
