Colorado Elective at the University of Denver Colorado for IMG

Hey guys
I just checked the requirements on their website. For IMGs, they specifically state:

"Students should be comparable to U.S. fourth year students (will have completed 48-weeks of clinical training in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Psychiatry and Neurology) and will be accorded the same experiences as a fourth year Colorado student. They will be allowed to participate in a maximum of one 4-week elective."

I just started my clinical rotations this year (not enough clinical experience). They also ask, 'student is in the final year of study' in their application form. How should I proceed? Should I just wait till 7th (my final) year to apply??

Have a look here: http://www.ucdenver.edu/academics/co...s/ApplForm.pdf

Thanks

Hello Dali89,

You can apply now...they requests that when you will be there to have Internal Medicine & General Surgery, Pediatrics, OBGYN & Psychiatry.

The big problem in Colorado University:

They requests a sponsor faculty to rotate with him & very expensive fees >3500 $$

My Advice :

If you afford this fees >3500 $$...I advice you to apply to better universities that are cheaper & higher....
As an Example: Yale university
