Default Interested in an Internship in Primary care?

Eligibility: Immediate openings for Pre-medical, medical students and international medical graduates based in Chicago. Positions are office based north of Chicago. 20 min drive from downtown Chicago. 1 hr transit from downtown Chicago

Responsibility: SOAP charting, coordinate physician plan. The position is contingent on a 20hrs/week for a minimum of 2 Months. (The opportunity allows reasonable flexibility around your academic commitments)

Primary skill development: EMR-SOAP, Specialty Referrals, Medical supply, LAB and Diagnostics order protocol, Introduction to medication prescription- both non controlled and controlled, E-Prescription, Incoming communication: Medication refill management, clinical case calls, progress notes, "LAB/DIAG triage", chart finalization. Ancillary Projects in preventive health. Students, all have their educational experience in common. What will stand out to employers are those students who ALSO have work experiences.
