California Hands On USCE for IMGs in California

Is it true that under any condition no IMG can get hands-on clinical experience in CA?
even we could find connections that people are willing to help us?

The Medical Board of California prohibits IMGs from gaining hands-on clinical experiences in the state of California. Alternatively, it may be in your best interests to take a look at the AMA – Medical Residency Track, which is a very unique program that will allow you to gain relevant clinical experiences in California! Private message me if you would like to more information regarding this program.

Yes. It's OK. But attending are generally so afraid (because of that announcement) so that now they are even reluctant to take you as observer.
If they do take you, they will say in the LoR something like "I swear to God he did not touch any patient"

Laithbv,

In regards to the article which you posted, by knowing the limitations of what the state will allow for an IMG in California, our college has been able to use Advanced Medical Assisting-Medical Residency Track as the platform to allow our students to gain the necessary residency relevant hands-on-clinical experience. As you may know by now, two of our students accepted residency positions here in the state of California. These two students credit much of their success to having the ability to conduct their hands-on-clinical externships here in California. Here is one of their testimonies below:

"Hello everyone:

I want to share my experience that I had with Advanced Colleges of America with you. This year I was accepted in an Internal Medicine Residency Program in California and to be honest with you, Advanced Colleges of America had a great role in my acceptance. Not only did it provide me with the clinical externships that I was looking for, but it also provided me with attending doctors affiliated with hospitals, who were amazing and helpful in strengthening and lightening my goals.
