Question International Medical Students Requirements to do Electives in USA?

Still I am a med school student..plan to do electives in US next year...I'm just an average student in my school...what do electives programs ask international med students when they apply for electives..what are the requirements? do they check the marksheet or the GPAs or just a simple approval from head of the med school..are they looking for some special qualities in international med students?

Please explain

No universal requirements.

Each program is different. You have to check the website of each program and see what requirements they have.

Some of them require passing TOEFL some require passing USMLE Step 1. Generally speaking they don't look at your med school performance.
