Question What kind of USCE do I need ? and for how long ?

Here's my story ,, I'm preparing for the USMLE now ,,

I was graduated a year a go from a medical school in Egypt ,,

One day I had an argument with one of my fellows about the type of USCE that will help me get a residency position in the USA ,,,

He told me that I need to do an observeship for not less than 6 months ,,,

I was shocked ,,, do I need really to do whatever the type of USCE for entire 6 months to be competent for the position ???!!!!!

Maybe not 6 months, but definitely 3 months.

But the more you do, the better your chances at a residency match.
