www.future-doc.net

Dear Future-Doc Friend:
We know that the time to submit Personal Statements is drawing near and every nerve in your body is on overdrive. Iíve been down your path ó at a loss for words, with a blank page daring me to write a personal statement. At the time I wished for help but I didnít know if it existed or where to find it.

I can only imagine how difficult it might be when English is not your native tongue. After years as a physician and a practicing journalist, I truly believe that writing for fellow physicians is one of the best ways to utilize both disciplines. I am heartened when I hear that the services were really helpful. Because of our desire to help you, along with the successes weíve had thus far, a team dedicated to assist you was born.

Paper piles of virtually thousands of prefabricated personal statements are readily available. And residency admissions staff have probably been bored by them repeatedly. So, if you want to be taken seriously, you need to have a unique statement.

If your statement only needs editing, the Future-Doc team offers that service at a reduced rate. But unless you are extremely sure that you have written the best statement ever, you need more than editing services. Your statement may need a major overhaul. Donít worry. Some of the greatest writers in the world have written more drafts than they can count. But admis-sions teams do not have time to wait for your final version. They need to see it now. Therefore the complete writing service, including the personal interview, may be the best route to take.
Future-Doc Personal Statement writing services will only work for the serious applicant. We really are concerned about your future and your success. So we agree to write your statement only if you donít mind answering some in-depth questions about your hopes, dreams and philosophy.
Here is a sampling of what we require:
1. A rough draft to serve as an outline..
2. Selected important items from your CV. For example awards, and how and why you earned them..
3. Medical school experiences that evoked heart-felt change or reaffirmation of your beliefs.
4. Three significant patient encounters ó
- Depicting the impact that you had on a patientís life
- Situations where a patient had a significant impact on you.
Because we realize and unveil the importance of even the smallest gesture, none of these items need to be spectacular.
When you answer some of the above questions, we can begin to find the common theme that unifies your whole story. After all your story has a beginning (the first time you realized your interest in a particular area and whatever inspired you), a middle (significant events occurring during the medical school years) an end (how a particular residency program matches your medi-cal career goals) as well as a desired future ( where you see yourself 10 years from now).

Then we read your material. We find your theme and ask about 10 questions that are thought provoking but fun. These are just some of the "tricks" used by writers throughout centuries. Some are commonly used; others are as unique as you.
Future-Doc Personal statements promise to never be trite nor full of space-filling, trivial phrases. Each word counts. All your ideas matter. The reader (admissions staff) will certainly share a unique and insightful passage on the very personal road to your hopes and ambitions

Very Personally Yours,
Dr. J and the Future-Doc Team

PS: Remember that we have journalists, creative writers, editors, business writers, copywriters, physicians and even
psychologists on the Future-Doc writing team.

Thumbs Up My thumbs up

i had my PS reviewed, critiqued & edited by future-doc. just want to share my experience & honest review.

Four things I can truthfully say about what they've done to my letter:
1)UNIQUE
2)sincere, passionate tone
3)specialty-directed
4)and everything else - great theme, nice flow, appropriate choice of words, one page length. most of all, Doc J is an asst professor in a big univ and has a journalism background, which even makes it better. Plus her team of veteran writers.

i can't put enough emphasis on the uniqueness. i made my letter based on the tips i've read on websites, only to realize it would make my letter cliche. so i tried their service & i was kinda concern when i first read the final draft, as it clearly deviates from the suggestions i've read. so i explained to Doc J (via phone) & she said, "that makes it different from the rest". then i realized, since it's different it makes it more unique & catchy. (and truth be told, i've got a couple interviews despite my below average score)

Thank you Doc J.

Default Proffesional

I found out about this website Future-doc by a displayed ad shown in this website and i contacted Dr. CLaudia Johnson.
I asked all those silly questions which any IMG can ask sitting far away from US but she patiently and skillfully answered all my quires. Looking forward to do externship with them.
