Advertisement Fall and Winter Opportunities for U.S. Clinical Experience

Fall and winter are the best seasons to get your USCE and LORs. Preceptors can give you more focused attention and you get more hands on experience than during the summer rush. Chicago Clerkships offers high quality hands-on clinical placements in family medicine, internal medicine, cardiology, pediatrics, psychiatry, orthopedics, ENT, critical care/ICU, gastroenterology, opthamalogy, pulmonology, OB/GYN, radiology, emergency medicine, geriatrics, neurology, hematology, oncology, rheumatology, surgery, infectious disease, anesthesiology, urology, sports medicine, and others. Placements are combined inpatient/outpatient; actual hospital time varies across specialties. We also offer some unique placements, such as primary care in a psychiatric hospital, as well as home-based internal medicine and medical research.

Both IMGs seeking externships and medical students seeking clinical electives are eligible to apply. Our fees are highly competitive, and we assist with housing and transportation guidance, as well as CV and personal statement preparation.

Visit our website at www.chicagoclerkships.com and look for us on facebook.

Default Endocrinology

Hi Dr. Khan,
I think that we have already responded to you by email. We have one rotation in endocrinology, but it is 100% outpatient. Please email us for more information.

Default Neurosurgery

Hello,
I sent this via private message, but just in case:

We do indeed accept international students and IMGs. But we don't have neurosurgery. We have surgery, vascular surgery, and neurology. I'm very sorry.

Please forgive the delay in responding. We were out for the holidays.

If you are interested in any of the above, you can contact me directly or you can apply directly through our website.

Default USCE

Hi, I am 10 years down the lane after graduating.I have UK clinical experience and worked in Urology for the past 6 years nearly . I am trying to get into urology in US which is a difficult branch to get into.I was wondering if there is any way I will be able to obtain a externship in urology ? if that is a difficult thing then surgery ? Please advice if I am following the right path before I spend a few 1000 on various things which might not aid me if I am not going to be good enough to get into the residency. Also I have a lot of experience in ER in UK.Thanks in advance for the advice.
