ERAS will start September 15th, 2012
by winner21 03-12-2012, 10:49 AM

ERAS announced that this year the season will start on September 15th 2012 not on September 1st 2012.

They also mentioned that MSPE upload will be in October rather than the usual November release date.

This is the first time they delay ERAS season

There will be no CS exams in June 2012 and they have announced that the results will be delayed.
So delaying the start of the season is good for those people who will have their CS results late.

Are you absolutely sure this is the case? The main resident match website www.nrmp.org still has the same timeline that says application process begins in the usual Sept 1 date. Check this out:

http://www.nrmp.org/res_match/yearly.html

Can anyone explain to me what acgme accredited residency programs mean?? Does this apply to us IMGs?? Totally confused with these conflicting dates in different websites.
