by j-sin 03-20-2012, 10:27 AM

The news is they are imposing a bond on J1 with eligibility criteria. You cannot apply for waiver unless u fulfill the bond or serve in India for say 4-5 years. The bond money is also high..around 5 lac..

Are you a doctor

What kind of doctor are you? No empathy. No service attitude. And dirty language. Why should USA give entry to such a spoiled brat?

As far as I know it concerns only to Indian medical graduates as the govt has the point in spending money on their studies here. But for FMGs it should not be a problem. U get a Good Character Certificate from the country of your primary education attested by the CGI.
The USMLE does not even need MCI Certification for us.

But this might be just a rumor. I heard it from some docs in India about this.
And they said even if there's a problem we can challenge to the govt for having no education or even internship done in India.
