No more 2-digit scores; Officially

Since the early days of this website we have been telling our members that the two digit score is a confusing number and one should not rely on it.

It's not a percentile, it does not correlate with the percentage of questions you answered, and it is inconsistent across different times and different populations.

This story has become even stronger when in October 2011 the NBME announced that they will stop reporting the two digit score to residency programs in ERAS.
