i would like to add that Lithium prevent recycling of inositol=>dec.IP3 and DAG
and it also Dec. cAMP...so it can lead to Hypothyroidism and nephrogenic DI because TSH and ADH both are Gs coupled..
L = Lithium M = Movement (tremor) N = Nephrogenic DI (V2 receptor, which is Gs) / Narrow therapeutic index O = hipOthyroidism (TSH act in a Gs receptor) P = Pregnancy problems (Ebstein) Q = inhibits Gq due to the fact that decrease IP3 (dec. IP2 & DAG) S = inhibits Gs due to the fact that decrease AMPc / Seizures T = Torsades de pointes
