Default blueberry muffing baby

Why does extramedullary hematopoiesis lead to distributed purpura over the skin, and hence blueberry muffin baby?

Default I had the same question and looked it up

Hey,

So this is what I found, the extramedullary hemopoesis occurs under skin in pockets u can say, and that causes the color change. I cant quote my source unfortunately coz its been a while since I went thru that topic.
