Skin Immunofluorescence Patterns of Selected Dermatologic Diseases

Hi guys. i would like to summarize IF of some Dermatologic Problems.


I. SLE associated Skin Lesion:

Aka Band Test of SLE.Deposites are located along the Basal Membrane.




II. Pemphigus Vulgaris

Note the stratum spinosum intercellular staining of desmosomes.



III. Bullous Pemphigoid

Linear deposition of IgG at the basement membrane against Hemidesmosomes



IV. Dermatitis Herpetiformis

Picture is showing anti IgA - IgA ic-es at the dermoepidermal junction
