Drug Treatment of Pneumocystis Jiroveci and CMV simultaneous medications

Here's a high yield pharmacology point:

Treatment of CMV is either Ganciclovir or Foscarnet
Treamtent of pneumocystis jiroveci is either TMP-SMX or Pentamidine

Never use Ganciclovir with TMP-SMX because they both cause bone marrow suppression, therefore better use Canciclovir with Pentamidine.

Never use Forscarnet with Pentamidine because they both are nephrotoxic, therefore better use Forscarnet with TMP-SMX
