Arrow Important points about PNH

PNH:

Hemolytic anemia, intravascular destruction of RBC mediated by complement.....> low hapton, increased urine hemosiderin.

Eitiology: impaired synthesis of GPI/decay accelerating factor, CD55 and CD59 defect(they prevent complement fixation).

PNH triad: HYPERCOAGULABLE STATE, HEMOLYTIC ANEMIA, AND THROMBOSIS.

IT'S NOT ONLY DURING NIGHT TIME !
