MusculoSkeletal Thumb Muscles

No body can get away from step 1 exam without being asked something about thumb muscles

Have a look at this table (click to enlarge)

Muscles supplied by the Radial nerve are exactly the opposite of those supplied by the Median nerve.
Likewise the muscle supplied by the anterior interosseous nerve (branch of the Median) is also the opposite of what is supplied by the posterior interosseous nerve (branch of the Radial nerve).
The only odd here is the muscle supplied by the Ulnar nerve.
