Here is a picture I found that summarizes the energy consumption by liver, muscle, brain, adipose tissue and cardiac muscle - right after a meal, during starvation and in between meals!

I am already done with step 1 .. but i had the most difficult time dealing with this as I was studying for step 1 months ago .. this will be very useful for those applying shortly
