Bacteria Beta Hemolytic Microorganisms

Yes, we all know about Strept pyogenes and Strept agalactiae but they are others that are also beta hemolytic (producing clear zone of hemolysis in blood agar).

Here's the high yield list

  • Staphylococcus aureus
  • Listeria monocytogenous
  • Clostridium perferinges
  • Escherichia coli
