Smile Psychotic patient with polydipsia

A psychotic patient on phenothiazines therapy presents with polyuria, polydipsia and water deprivation test results in correction of urine osmolality.

Answer: Phenothiazine cause severe dry mouth to the point that the patient develops primary polydispia

this is because of anti muscarinic effect of these drugs..
