The only risk factor for Mesothelioma is asbestos exposure
BUT
Those with Asbestos exposure who have a history of smoking are at 60x increased risk for primary bronchogenic carcinoma
Those with Asbestos exposure alone are at a 6x risk of primary bronchogenic carcinoma (not just mesothelioma, although this is the classic association)
