RBC why there is hemolytic anemia with acanthocytes in vitamin e deficiency

can anyone explain that why there is hemoltyic anemia with acanthocytes in case of vitamin e deficiency? whats the pathogenesis of it ?

Vit E is essential for cell membrane stability and intergrity. Lack of Vit E makes RBC prone to oxidative stress and hemolysis.
